    Neck sizing & lube

Neck sizing only 6.5 Creedmoor fired in my rifle. Do I need to lube entire case, neck only or not at all. Collet neck sizing die from Lee Ultimate die set. Not noted on instruction sheet. Looked on Google with widely differing results. Thought I would/should have asked the "Pros" here first

I have been using the Lee collet dies for a long time and never used lube on the cases but you do need to clean and lube the die components otherwise they will gall. I do this every 100 rounds or so. Take die apart and clean inside and out with solvent or brake clean, wipe dry inside and out. Spray with One shot or equivalent, let dry, wipe off any excess inside and out.

You do not need to lube your brass. take care of your die though, I don’t clean the die as often as wolf dog, but I do clean mine regularly.
